Pick Your Mascara Type

There is no better way to look beautiful than to get eyes that light up and show full volume. Curling up your eyelashes and adding a coat or two of mascara can do wonders for your eyes. If you carry a lip gloss with you at all times then you should also carry mascara because it is a basic makeup item for any woman.

There are many mascara formulations and wands in the cosmetic market that serve some really great purposes with your lashes. Lengthening, thickening, curling, waterproof and non-clumping are some of the most popular and interesting mascara types. Lengthening mascaras have wands, which are designed to get the mascara to the very tip of the lash.

With every swipe you manage to get mascara on to every lash, with their densely packed bristled wand. Some of these mascaras contain tiny fibres of rayon, nylon or polymers. These cling to the lashes and add a millimetre or two of length. Thickening mascaras have waxes, and silicon polymers to produce a thick formula. When these are coated on the lashes, they give them a darker and a dense look with full volume. Curling mascaras also contain polymers designed to shrink and lift the lashes.

Fixing polymers keep them curved and they work better on short lashes. Waterproof or non-smudging mascara have special properties to repel water. These are ideal for swimming and weddings where you do not want a mascara meltdown. You can easily remove them with oil-based makeup remover. Non-clumping mascara types avoid the globby look with their silk extract and glycerine.

They evenly distribute the mascara and glide smoothly on the lashes. They contain less fibres and waxes and manage to look smooth even after three coats. They have a very natural effect. To get luscious, long, curvy, extra volume lashes there are many mascara types available. And they come with all types of brushes - straight, curved, double-tapered, spherical and even vibrating brushes.

Rimmel mascaras have been a favourite among many women for a long time. They have introduced to the market many mascara types from lengthening, thickening, water resistant to voluminous. Rimmel glam eyes, sexy curves, volume flash and Rimmel extra super lash are some of the elegant choices from Rimmel mascara. When you buy mascara always look for the proper formula and wand you need to get the ultimate mascara effect. There is a wide selection of different mascara types from Rimmel.

Proper Application Of Mascara

Your eyes define the rest of the features of your face. They are the most important when it comes to looking beautiful. Mascaras make your eyes look deep and detailed. Choose the right type of mascara for the occasion or the time of day.

Lengthening, thickening, long wearing, conditioning and waterproof are some of the options available. Make sure to finish other eye makeup before using mascara. Most women curl their lashes with an eyelash curler before applying mascara. If you are using a metal curler, then you can heat it with a blow dryer for few seconds.

Make sure it’s not too heated to harm your eyes. Make sure to grab all hairs when placing it near the lash line. Hold it for about ten seconds and release. You do not have to try and curl the lower lashes as they are too short to be curled. One important thing is to make sure that your lashes are not coated with mascara before curling, because it may damage and break the lashes.

Take out the brush from the tube in one easy twirl and pull. Do not pump it as more air will flow into the bottle causing the mascara to dry up quickly. It will also allow bacteria and fungus to develop in the bottle and the brush.

Gently rub the end tip of the applicator on the inside rim of the bottle to get the excess mascara off. From the underside of the upper lashes sweep the brush upwards to the tips. Roll the brush in upward strokes, holding the brush parallel to the eye. While the lashes are wet, use an eyelash comb to separate the lashes, before they stick together. If you see excess mascara, blot them on a tissue paper.

Allow the first coat to dry before applying the second. When doing your lower lashes, stroke them downwards and sometimes holding the applicator vertical to do them bit by bit. To remove any smudges use a cotton bud with eye makeup remover.

To add more detail and volume to make your lashes stand out, after the application process when the lashes are dry, apply mascara just to the tip of the upper lashes and comb. It is advisable that you do all your eye makeup in front a mirror, seated and comfortable than in a hurry or while in a vehicle.

This may cause damages to your eye and won’t bring out favourable results from your makeup. When it comes to mascara, there are many brands and types available in the cosmetic market. The trick is to find the right one. Rimmel is one of the most renowned cosmetic labels in the UK.

Rimmel mascara comes in a variety of ranges from Volume Flash for maximum bold curves, Extra Super Lash with its Super Lash curved brush for lash building, Glam’ Eyes for sensational lashes and Sexy Curves for lash plumping.

Tips For Finding The Right Mascara

Shopping for mascara can be a difficult process because there are many types available. What makes this even more difficult is that a brand that looks good on your friend may not look good on you. This is due to several factors including hair color, skin tone, and the color of your eyes. It mostly comes down to personal preference and finding something that you like to wear. There are several tips for figuring out which type of mascara is best for you.

Determining which mascara is right for you depends on several factors. Consider the natural state of your lashes. Are they long and sparse or think and short? This state of your lashes has an effect on the type of mascara that you should choose. You may also want to think about how your lashes react to mascara and how they exist without it.

Once you have thought about how your lashes exist naturally, think about your experience with mascara. What kinds have you tried and what did you like best? Obviously when you use mascara you can achieve longer lashes, but do you like your lashes to feel natural?

Mascara is the final addition to any makeup application, and it can be very beneficial to your look. The best way to find the right mascara is to think about all the different issues brought up and to try them all out. In order to help make the process of choosing mascara easier, the following list should help you find the best choice.

 Price

Mascara, like any other cosmetic product, comes in a wide variety of prices. You may be on a budget and this can help narrow down the brands that you can consider. Price is a very important factor when choosing the right mascara for you. It is important to remember that the best mascara may not necessarily be the one that costs a lot of money. Talk to your friends, read reviews online and see what they use or go to the local drugstore and try some of the affordable mascaras there. You may find that many of the least expensive formulas work the best.

 Color

The color of your mascara is also important. Think about your personal style and the color of your eyes when selecting mascara. Choosing the color depends highly on the color of your hair. Brunettes usually look best with black mascara while blondes and redheads tend to look best with brown mascaras.

Conservative colors are suggested for the workplace. However, if you want to have a fun night out on the town, go for a color that complements your eyes. You can try a purple for green eyes and if you want something with a little extra kick, try mascara with a little glitter.

 Formulation

The type of lashes that you have may determine the formulation of the mascara that is ideal for you. Some lashes are brittle and shed more than others. Many types of mascara contain vitamins and conditioners. If you have sensitive or dry lashes, you may opt for mascara that conditions your lashes as it lengthens and darkens them. These formulas can prevent lash loss as you use the mascara day in and day out. Hypoallergenic, fiber free and unscented mascaras are also a good idea if you have sensitive eyes.

 Type

In general, there are five types of mascaras, which include lengthening, thickening, waterproof, water-soluble, and non-clumping. Choosing the right mascara for you depends on what your specific needs are. If your lashes are thick but short, try for the lengthening type. If you have sparse lashes, go for the thickening. Waterproof mascara is a great choice if you are attending an event such as a wedding where you may have a chance of crying. It is also good to wear if it is raining. Water-soluble and non-clumping are both for your convenience. If you do not wish to use makeup remover, use water-soluble.

 The Brush

The brush within the mascara tube is just as important as all the other factors such as the type, formula, and color. The type of brush determines how the mascara is applied to the lashes. Curved brushes usually coat more lashes at the same time, for better coverage.

Straight brushes are ideal for applying mascara to the corners of your eyes, which are typically difficult to reach. If you find one style brush works better for you but the formula you love best does not use it, you can always buy replacement brushes at your local beauty supply shop.

Choosing the right mascara can be a difficult process but it does not have to be like this. You need to remember that everybody is different and what works for one person may not work for you. Consider
the factors such as your hair color, skin tone and the color of your eyes because these can help you decide which color range to try out.

Consider these tips next time you go shopping for mascara and it should be much easier to find something that looks great on you.

Blinc Waterproof Black Mascara

Blinc products are the brain child from a husband and wife partnership that was established 1999, Lewis and Suma Farsedakis vision was to create a product that delivered what it promised, while being different and better than the existing Eye Makeup products available. The first product of their range was the Kiss Me Mascara.

This is a water resistant mascara unlike its comparable competitor's waterproof mascara. Blinc Kiss Me Mascara does not coat your lashes in an oil based coat instead it form little water resistant tubes around your lashes.Because Blinc Mascara does not paint onto your lashes it does not smudge, run, clump, or flake unlike traditional mascaras.

How to Get the Perfect Mascara

It will even stay on if you have been crying or rubbing your eyes, to remove the tubes all you need to do is gently slide them off your lashes using some warm water and gentle pressure from your fingertips. Blinc Kiss Me Mascara is also available in a wide rage of shades; Black, Dark Brown, Medium Brown, Dark Blue, Dark Purple, and Dark Green, so there is a shade to suit all styles.

To understand the benefits of the Blinc Kiss Me Mascara we have to understand what is wrong with traditional Mascara's;Oil based mascara dries out when applied and turns to a powder, this enables it to clump, flake and run etc. Blinc Kiss Me mascara on the other hand is not Oil based so prevents this from happening, this also makes Blinc Mascara suitable for contact lens wearers and people with sensitive eyes.

Ultimate Guide To Choosing The Best Mascara

Blinc is applied like a regular mascara, however once it sets, tiny tubes will form around your lashes providing both volume and length.Oil based Mascara's are prone to drying out quickly, so you more often than not have to throw it away before you have used it all up. Blinc Kiss Me Mascara will last up to two - three times longer because of its ingredients

Flaky mascara is known to be a cause of eye irritation as mascara flakes off into the eye. Blinc Mascara does not flake so this is no longer an issue.

Learn to Apply Waterproof Mascara

It is difficult to understand how women went without waterproof mascara in past. These mascaras created a storm in the makeup sector; now ladies can use this mascara anytime in summer or in monsoon. It is extremely popular with sportswomen because it can be used while working out in the gym or on the field or even while swimming without thinking about the mascara fading away.

There is one issue though that the resilient nature of waterproof mascara makes it tough to clean it. Since it's waterproof, our usual combination of water and soap doesn't effect it. If you are not cautious, you may even end up losing some of the eye lashes which will result in irritation to the gentle skin around the eyes and may even result an infection. But don't worry as there are other ways.

You need to clean your eyelashes but you should do it in a healthy way. The most famous way of removing makeup is still water and soap. This is not the recommended makeup cleanser because the soap dries your skin, particularly the delicate skin around the eyes and it pains if the soap enters the eyes.

But even after using soap and water many times, waterproof mascaras may not move with quite a bit of it still left intact. In order to remove waterproof mascara appropriately, you will need many things. Firstly, buy some cotton balls and cotton swabs. Next, you will have to get a high quality water-resistant eye makeup cleanser which can be a bit costly.

Finally, get hold of a good yet gentle facial cleanser. Once you have all these things in your hand, you are ready to start cleaning. Take the cotton wool, flatten it a little and damp it properly with the eye makeup cleanser. This cotton wool should be placed directly under the eyelashes. With the cotton wool underneath your lashes, slowly press your lashes against the cotton ball.

There is no need to rub the cotton ball against the lashes, let it stay put for 30 secs. This will give the solution enough time to remove the mascara. Slowly, without pulling, wipe the cotton wool upwards towards the ends of your lashes. Continue to do this until your eyelashes are clean.

Once the ends are clean, use the cotton buds to remove the mascara from the roots by dipping the buds into the remover and slowly rubbing them into the roots. Once you feel you have cleaned all of it, use a gentle facial cleanser and plenty of warm water to clean all the cosmetics and grime from your skin.
